The Standard Height Chain Guard protects the driver from the clutch, chain, and heat from the header.
The chain guard is made of 3/16 aluminum with a vertical heat shield for protecting the driver’s arm from radiating heat from the engine and exhaust header pipe. The Chain Guard also protects against the chain and clutch in case of failure. This shield will clear most racing headers. This guard is used primarily in weenie pipe classes. If using an open header rule, you may want to use the DJ-1420 Big Bertha Chain Guard.
The chain guard will bolt onto the Honda GX200, Clone 196, Tillotson 196/212/225, Ducar 196/212, and Predator 212 Engines.
