EGO-18 EGO Clutch Springs are held in the plate by the EGO-19 Adjusting Screw and EGO-20 Spring Retaining Washer against the EGO-12 Activator Plate.
The Clutch Spring adjusts the pressure required by the EGO-16 Clutch Lever to engage the clutch. The higher the pressure, the more RPMs required to engage the clutch. The lower the pressure, the fewer RPMs required to engage the clutch. This is the stall speed. We have instructions on how to set your stall speed on our technical page.
