The Tillotson 72mm or what is known as the 225 blocks and the Tillotson 76mm or 3″ block does not have the front tank mounts for a traditional top plate linkage. The idea behind this is to distinguish the Tillotson racing engines from other industrial engine blocks. Without the tank mounts, the Tillotson engine gains a cleaner, more efficient curb appeal.

Our newly designed top plate allows you to mount a fuel pump to your Tillotson 72mm and 76mm Blocks. This is the ideal setup for modified engines using aftermarket slides or diaphragm carburetors. If you are running a stock or GX390 style carburetor, we recommend using our LK-156 linkage kit to run your stock linkage carburetors.
