MCP Hydraulic brake systems are made for Karting but can be adapted to many other types of small race vehicles from Jr drag, quarter midgets, race mowers, etc. The MCP Brake Kit is a high-quality system that is easy to install and service. It uses DOT 5 brake fluid for higher temperatures and less corrosion for a longer lifespan than other brakes. Calipers have a spring system to retract the brake pad from the brake disc when you disengage the brake not to rob power from the vehicle. The calipers are adjustable to keep the air gap proper between the brake pads and disc as the pads wear.

The big brake kit is to be used on 1.25″ Axles. This kit utilizes a larger 10-inch brake rotor. The added surface area improved heat dispensation and improved stopping power. This kit is designed for heavy lawnmower classes where the standard rotor is usually overworked and cannot stop wheel rotation.
