Tillotson Short Wrist Pin for the Tillotson 225 72mm Piston

The 13mm Tillotson Wrist Pin had two goals:

The first is to improve the design of the piston and rotating assembly. The weight of the 13mm is less than the stock Predator or clone wrist pin. The decrease in weight can further balance the rotating assembly and reduce kinetic energy, helping reduce vibration. It also allows the wrist pin to move closer to the crown of the piston to change the compression height, further allowing a reduction in weight but allowing a longer rod to be used that can reduce the lateral vibrations of the engine.

The second is 13mm larger in diameter than the many aftermarket pistons. The larger diameter will stiffen and strengthen the wrist pin.

The result of these goals is a piston assembly or rotating assembly that increases the engine’s power performance and durability.
