The Wildcat 223 On-Board Electric Starter works with flywheels that have ring gears to start the engine. The starter easily starts stock or mild engines but may have trouble with high compression or camshafts that do not have compression release mechanisms. We recommend using external hand held starters for power racing engines.Â
